Candiles Mexican Restaurant

The food is amazing, second time we ate here. The chips are mediocre salsa the same but the main entrees are really good. Service both times we came are very slow but its a busy place in a small town. Unfortunately, tonight is the LAST time we will ever eat here. I asked as politely as I could to a server that was walking by (no one had checked on us the entire time after we were seated and mad our order) I asked very nicely for "a dos equis please" we were sitting by the bar and I heard the server I asked MOCKING me behind the bar to another server. They both made eye contact with me and the one brought the beer over with a smile. I told my husband who didn't hear it, who reported this to a waitress walking by and then the one server came and apologized briefly. But I don't come to resteraunts to spend my hard earned money to be made fun of. So we will not be eating there again.

He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also took the time to tell us a little about himself and where he loves to visit when he's back in Mexico, ultimately making the dining experience both educational and enjoyable. Manuel's warm and attentive demeanor made us feel like valued guests, and his recommendations were spot-on. What got me the most is when I asked for "club soda" because that's the closest thing to Topo Chica I can usually find in restaurants. He said they didn't have "club soda" or "Topo Chico", but did manager to find mineral water!! With a side of lime, I was in heaven!! Although the restaurant is located in Augusta, the drive was absolutely worth it. I can confidently say that I've found a hidden gem that I will gladly travel the distance for, time and time again. The combination of authentic flavors, impeccable service from Manuel, and the vibrant ambiance make this restaurant a standout in the culinary scene.
